...is a great, great show. We need more Pa's in this world. Also, I'd like to say that I think this world might be a better place if people who deserved to get punched in the face, got punched in the face occassionally.
(p.s. coffee in the afternoon is grand...)

ReplyDeleteMy comment was prompted by the episode of LHOTP. To simplify: a new doctor came to Walnut Grove. He was AfricanAmerican, so people did not want him to treat them/their families (except for the Ingalls, of course ;) . Well, a woman was about to deliver her baby; she needed a C-section and the regular doctor was out of town. The husband (of the pregnant woman) would not let the new doctor touch her, even though it would most likely mean she and the baby would die. So Pa punched this man in the face, he ...uh... re-considered, let the new doctor operate on his wife, and everyone ended up happy and healthy! A very efficient process, if you ask me :)
